Easy chicken kiev with pesto green beans

Serves: 4  |  Preparation time: 20mins  |  Cooking time: 40mins


4 Tasman chicken kiev's (frozen)
2 cups green beans, trimmed
2 tbsp pesto
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
juice of 1 lemon
½ red onion, finely sliced
2 tbsp pine nuts, toasted
¼ red chilli, seeded and finely chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Arrange frozen kievs on a lined oven tray and bake for 40 minutes.
  2. Steam the green beans over a saucepan of simmering water until just tender.
  3. Meanwhile, mix the pesto, olive oil and lemon juice. Toss the beans with the onion, pine nuts and chilli, then drizzle with the pesto dressing.
  4. Serve beans with the chicken kievs.
