Savoury lamb chump chop casserole
Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 15 mins | Cooking time: 2hrs 30mins
8x Tasman lamb chump chops
½ cup caster sugar
¼ cup plain flour
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp English mustard powder
1 tsp mixed spice
¼ cup tomato paste
1 ½ cups water
¼ cup white vinegar
1 tsp salt and pepper to taste
Vegetables if preferred:
1 cup mixed vegetables (and increase sauce mixture)
- Place chops in a deep casserole dish.
- Mix all other ingredients together and pour over the chops, making sure all chops are covered.
- Bake at 180°C for 2-2½ hours.
For extra gravy make one-and-a-half times sauce
