Slow Cooked Beef Roast
Serves: 6 | Preparation time: 10 mins | Cooking Time: 8 hours
1kg Tasman yearling beef roast
2 large carrots, chopped
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 large sweet potato, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pinch ground black pepper to taste
½ cup (125ml) Worcestershire sauce
½ cup (125ml) barbecue sauce
- Place beef round roast in slow cooker, then add carrots, sweet potato, onion, celery and beans.
- Season with garlic powder and black pepper. Pour Worcestershire and barbecue sauce over meat and vegetables.
- Cook on Low until the meat is tender, 6 to 8 hours.
- Perfect with rice or mashed potato on the side.
