Slow Cooked Beef Roast

1kg Tasman yearling beef roast
2 large carrots, chopped
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 large sweet potato, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pinch ground black pepper to taste
½ cup (125ml) Worcestershire sauce
½ cup (125ml) barbecue sauce


    1. Place beef round roast in slow cooker, then add carrots, sweet potato, onion, celery and beans.
    2. Season with garlic powder and black pepper. Pour Worcestershire and barbecue sauce over meat and vegetables.
    3. Cook on Low until the meat is tender, 6 to 8 hours.
    4. Perfect with rice or mashed potato on the side.
