Classic Pasta Bake
Serves: 4. Preparation Time: 10 mins. Cooking Time: 40 mins.
500g Tasman Regular Beef Mince
1 brown onion, diced
1 can diced tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp curry powder
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 cups pasta (pictured bow pasta)
1 cup grated cheese
Olivital extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper
GFresh mixed herbs
Lightly grease a 6cm deep 30x20cm (approx) dish and preheat oven to 200˚C/180˚C fan forced.
Drizzle pan with Olivital extra virgin olive oil and cook mince with onion until cooked through. Add garlic, curry powder, tomato paste, worcestershire sauce and diced tomatoes to pan and stir through. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, add pasta to a pot of boiling water and cook until just tender.
Add cooked pasta to pan and stir through. Transfer to greased dish and sprinkle with mixed herbs, cheese, salt and pepper over the top. Bake oven for 30 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
