Quick vegie burger

Serves: 4  |  Preparation Time: 10 mins  |  Cooking Time: 15 mins


2x Freshwater Foods fresh vegie burgers, each burger cut into 8 wedges (available at Tasman Butchers) 
1 tbsp olive oil
4 hamburger buns, halved
Cos or Rocket lettuce leaves
2 medium ripe tomatoes, sliced
Tomato sauce or relish


  1. Warm fry pan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil and add patties. Turn every 2 minutes until they are golden and warm.
  2. Place the hamburger buns, cut-side down in fry pan, and toast lightly.
  3. To serve, spread the bottom halves of buns with the tomato relish. Top with the lettuce, sliced tomato and patties. Cover with the hamburger bun tops.
