Sticky Chicken Skewers

Ingredients:
- 700g Hazeldenes Fresh Chicken Thigh Fillets (skin off)
- 120ml low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- ¼ tsp chilli flakes
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- spring onions, finely chopped for garnish
- 8 skewers (if using wood, soak before using)
Method:
1. Chop the chicken thighs into bite-sized cubes and pop them into a bowl.
2. Pour in the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, mirin, chili flakes, garlic, and ginger. Give it all a good stir until every piece is coated in that delicious marinade.
3. Let the chicken soak up all the flavours by setting it aside for 5–10 minutes.
4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto your pre-soaked skewers
5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat
6. Grill the chicken skewers until they’re beautifully browned on all sides and cooked through – juicy and tender perfection!
7. Plate it up with fluffy rice and your favourite veggies. Enjoy!
