Sticky Chicken Skewers⁠

Ingredients: 
  • 700g Hazeldenes Fresh Chicken Thigh Fillets (skin off) ⁠
  • 120ml low sodium soy sauce ⁠
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar ⁠
  • 1 tbsp mirin ⁠
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil ⁠
  • ¼ tsp chilli flakes ⁠
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced⁠
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger ⁠
  • spring onions, finely chopped for garnish⁠
  • 8 skewers (if using wood, soak before using)
Method: 

1. Chop the chicken thighs into bite-sized cubes and pop them into a bowl.⁠

2. Pour in the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, mirin, chili flakes, garlic, and ginger. Give it all a good stir until every piece is coated in that delicious marinade.⁠

3. Let the chicken soak up all the flavours by setting it aside for 5–10 minutes.⁠

4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto your pre-soaked skewers ⁠

5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat⁠

6. Grill the chicken skewers until they’re beautifully browned on all sides and cooked through – juicy and tender perfection!⁠

7. Plate it up with fluffy rice and your favourite veggies. Enjoy!⁠
